Meet the Physicians
Gambhir M.D. is led by a wife and husband physician team, Vibha Gambhir M.D. and Anshul Gambhir M.D. They met at the University of Pennsylvania as undergraduates, married during medical school, and have since raised two children. Both practice the full range of treatments offered here.
Vibha Gambhir, M.D.
Vibha Gambhir M.D. studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her medical degree at MCP Hahnemann, now the Drexel University College of Medicine, and completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the same institution. She is licensed to practice medicine in New York State.

Anshul Gambhir, M.D.
Anshul Gambhir M.D. studied Health Care Management at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine and completed a residency in Family Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is licensed to practice medicine in New York State.
He has practiced nonsurgical facial cosmetic medicine since 2005. His patient reviews are published on RealSelf.
Together
Their cosmetic practice, Gambhir Cosmetic Medicine, began in 2005 in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Over the years they built one of the busiest nonsurgical cosmetic practices in the country. At its peak, it ranked second in the nation for the volume of Botox and Juvéderm. In 2023 they sold the majority stake in Gambhir Cosmetic Medicine, which operates today under different ownership. In 2026 they brought their practice to New York City, in part to be close to their children. Vibha Gambhir M.D. and Anshul Gambhir M.D. practice today at Gambhir M.D., 200 Central Park South. They started again deliberately, and smaller. Gambhir M.D. is physician-owned, so the only thing shaping a recommendation is the patient in the chair.
Decades of Experience
Experience changes everything in this work. It shapes both the safety of a treatment and how natural the result looks. It profoundly shapes the complete patient relationship and patient experience from start to finish.
Practicing since 2005, the Gambhirs have cared for patients across more than 200,000 visits. Together, they have injected over 6 million units of Botox and performed more than 60,000 filler treatments. Very few physicians in the United States have done this work as many times.

So our care is a conversation. We listen first. We bring our expertise, you bring your goals and your own sense of what natural aging means to you, and we build the plan together. We practice facial balancing, small, careful changes that keep your features in harmony, so the result is you, refreshed, and never someone else.
We are also honest. Sometimes the right answer is a single treatment. Sometimes it is less than you expected, or nothing at all. You are entrusting us with your care and we intend to honor that trust.
We believe in education. The more you understand, the better the decisions you can make. So we take the time to explain your options, plainly, until they are clear.

Every treatment carries some risk, and we believe you should understand yours before we begin. Not to frighten you, but so we go forward together, eyes wide open. We weigh risk against benefit in every decision. We choose our tools and products with safety in mind, and our care is led by experienced, highly trained physicians with deep training in facial anatomy.
