“Good aftercare protects your results, and your safety.”

After any treatment, the care you take in the next few hours and days matters. Following these instructions helps your skin heal well, lowers the chance of side effects, and protects the result you came in for.

Thermage Post-Care

Thermage has little to no downtime. These few steps help you get the best result. If anything concerns you, call us.

After Your Treatment

  • Do not apply ice to the area for 48 hours.
  • For pain, use only Tylenol.
  • Avoid anti-inflammatory medicines (e.g. aspirin, steroids, ibuprofen, Advil, and Naproxen) for 72 hours after the procedure.
  • Stay out of bright sunlight for 24 hours.
  • Use SPF 30 or higher on the treated areas after the procedure.
  • No makeup on the area for 8 hours after treatment.
  • If Sculptra was part of your treatment, massage the cheeks for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days.
  • Call us with any concerns.
